*JM is currently 36 months old*
We didn't have a specific theme this week. JZ was working on the letter W, so I gave JM a few activities involving the letter W. In general, it was a mellow week.
Here is a glance at JM's Tot Trays for the week.
Using a dry erase
marker he traced the lines to help the toys find Andy's room on this printable from 1+1+1=1. I put his printables in sheet protectors
, so he can erase and do them again and again.
This sorting exercise was also from 1+1+1=1. I laminated
and cut out each piece to sort (animal toys vs. people toys), but at the last minute I was inspired to use the toys from Imaginext Toy Story 3 - Tri-County Landfill
for JM to sort instead. He LOVED this tray.
One day I put these magnetic color cubes
on a cookie sheet by themselves for JM to freely make designs. He kept lining them up in hill like formations and calling it a roller coaster.
Another day I put the magnetic color cubes
out with different colored watermelons (from Confessions of a Homeschooler) to sort the colors.
As always, one of his favorite weekly activities is putting together the letter of the week using Alphabet Letter-Builder Set - Uppercase
. He also liked tracing the letter W with his finger. I need to invest in a set of sandpaper letters
for him.
Check out more of our activities from the week, linked under each photo.
