Cross Collages {Easter Craft for Kids}

We love open ended, simple art projects.  Contact paper is the perfect tool for an invitation to create.  With Easter just around the corner, I set out supplies to make cross collages.

Supplies:

While we worked we talked about how Jesus died for our sins.  We discussed what sin is:  any word, thought or action against God's will.  I reminded them that all we need to do to be freed from sin is confess to the Lord our wrongdoings.  There is no greater  blessing than to hear my children repeat Biblical truths to me.

I taped the crosses to the window in the playroom.  When we walk by our crosses we are reminded that He rose on the third day and will return for us one day.  What a glorious day that will be!
