We've never had an issue with it ruining anything. Yet here goes anyways...I know this may sound corny. Yet here goes anyways, I basically grew up without a "mother" and always vowed never to do that to my children. Now my children 15, 9 n 2(on Halloween) tell me/show me that I am a good mother to them. Yet personally I lack the imagination I always wanted to have as being a mother. And we are in Perth, Australia. As long as it has enough salt in it there shouldn't be an issue and I only ever make cooked playdough which might make a difference too. Our issue is that even in a airtight container it will dry out after a couple of months.
